PalletCreate Robot System

In the system, robot cooperates with the user, who places all the materials (boards and blocks) into jigs. Because of the safety components used, the user can work on another pallet, while the robot works on the other one, simultaneously.

The robot nails both sides of a pallet in one go. After finishing nailing, it proceeds to move the pallet onto a stack. In case the robot runs out of nails, it automatically moves into refill positions, in order to make the refill more accessible and quicker, and also make it clear for the user that refill is needed.

Part of the system is a touch-based panel PC. The system is visualized in the user interface clearly and concisely. In case of alerts, it provides problem descriptions and solutions for the user, reducing the need for technical manuals, booklets, and phone calls to tech support.

The user starts a session by selecting the pallet recipe created using the programming tool. The user interface shows the positions for jigs in jig holders. For new recipes, custom-made jigs need to be ordered, before the production of pallets for those recipes can be started. The jigs are very inexpensive and make the pallet production highly customizable and modular.
